Muslim World Condolence
Kuwait: Abdullah Al-Mutawwa, chairman of the Social Reform Society, died on sunday. Born in 1926, Mutawwa helped found the Muslim Brotherhood in kuwait and was known as a politican, economist, and ISlmamist. HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to his family. The Amir extolled late Mutawwa' role in serving ISlam and welfare wrok on local and international levels, and prayed to God to have mercy on him. In a telephone call from abroad, National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Khorafi recalled the deceased's charitable work, saying Mutawwa had dedicated his life in serving ISlam. He added that Mutawwa had enjoyed wisdom and balance and had stuck to his point of view once he knew it was righteous. Khorafi also recalled how Mutawwa had defended Kuwait's just causes. The Muslim Brotherhood in EWgypt mourned his loss, saying he was a true model. Hamoud Al-Roumi is expected to replace Al Mutawwa as chariman of the Social Reform Society
